Access To Recovery Alcohol & Drug Rehab Centers In Georgia
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Center for Substance Abuse Treatment funds three-year long grants called Access to Recovery. The Access to Recovery scheme is designed to provide vouchers to those who are abusing substances or who are addicted to drugs to allow them a greater choice in where they receive treatment. It encourages people to use community-based and faith-based treatment facilities for their disease. It is recognized that there is no one fix to the problem of substance abuse and there are a number of approaches and methods of healing. The vouchers thus widen the options for clinical treatment as well as giving people more options for recovery support programs.
Georgia does not currently hold a grant for Access to Recovery from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. However, there are a number of options in Georgia for those seeking help for substance abuse and drug addiction.
