American Indian Health, part of the Family Services of Southeast Michigan is a nonprofit organization that supports the empowerment and enhancement of the physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental wellbeing of American Indian and Alaska Native individuals.
Supporting all community needs, the American Indian Health and Family Services (AIHFS) offers a wide variety of substance abuse and behavioral health services for males and females from children to senior adults. Services provided by AIHFS include the following:

AIHFS serves its community by providing referrals to detox facilities, inpatient treatment, and residential rehab services that are also sensitive and culturally adapted to American Indian and Alaska Native individuals.

The American Indian Health and Family Services medical clinic accepts people with and without health insurance. Individuals who do not have health insurance are eligible for a sliding fee scale, which is based on income.
Insurance plans accepted by AIHFS include state funded health insurance, private health insurance, U.S. Centers for Medicare, federally funded Medicaid through U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, funding from Indian Health Services (IHS), and Access to Recovery (ATR) vouchers.
