This place confuses me. They would not allow my family member to return due to having a relapse after having done 30 days of treatment while he was private paying the $300+ dollars per day after graduation to get a few more days of treatment. Is really odd since they say that relapse does sometimes happen and the staff has allegedly been through it and there were other people there at the time who did not get kicked out for the same thing. They would not explain the reasons for that decision yet still sent bills for days he wasn't there due to them refusing to provide the medical treatment. The person who made his decision had never even actually met the patient and his counselor said she would have handled it differently but the choices are made by someone who makes this sort of arbitrary decision based on who knows what without even meeting the patient once during a 30 day stay. They would not even allow an outpatient program or provide any assistance after receiving $15,000 too medically treat this patient and make promises of all of these things however they would bill for services not rendered and make collection calls. Still getting bills in the mail for services not rendered.
Obviously they are very concerned with helping people.
I would recommend the Firing Line and Clean Air North and Northside meetings for free before paying thousands of dollars for this sort of service. I have also heard good things about Origins recovery which is on an island in South Texas and is the same price.
