According to a survey done in 2010, approximately 9% of students in high school reported smoking marijuana in the month before the survey was taken. 6% of the same group smoked it regularly. On the other hand, according to a 2004-2005 survey, only 4% of adults did. Marijuana is the most commonly abused drug in the state. This is followed by cocaine, at 2% of the youth surveyed using it and 1% of adults. However, in those between the ages of 18 and 20, 4% of users abuse this drug. There is also a rising problem with club drug abuse, more specifically MDMA (also known as Ecstasy), GHB, LSD, ketamine, GBL, nubain, Rohypnol, PCP and mushrooms. According to the statistics, most of the users of the drug are over the age of 18, with the largest group of users in the 18 to 20 range at 4%.
