Daniel Nguyen

Daniel joined AllTreatment as an Editorial Intern after earning an English degree at the University of Washington and he has recently become an Outreach Coordinator for the Seattle office. His other office titles include Cake Boy D, The Toileteer, Savage Dan, Doctor Danhattan, The Dan Hatter, and sometimes simply Dan. He has contributed articles to OpenDemocracy.net, EmpoweringParents.com, and ReligiousTolerance.org. In his work for AllTreatment, Daniel aims to foster understanding and compassion surrounding addiction issues. Daniel actually found himself at AllTreatment following a self-imposed exile from the deep, dark, surprisingly addictive world of internet dragon-slaying. When the real world became unavoidable Daniel went a-wandering, lost and confused somewhere in his mid-twenties, only to wash up on the shores of AllTreatment where he traded in his digital sword and shield for a digital pen and pad. Now instead of fighting dragons, he raids with AllTreatment against the perils of drug and behavioral addiction. Daniel’s leisure time is spent enjoying rock climbing, home improvement projects, and underwater photography. His dream is to combine all of these into a nonprofit venture that helps rebuild coral reef structures while taking sweet pics of fishies.
