Adrienne Hurst is Senior Managing Editor at AllTreatment and is currently based in Seattle, WA. Following her completion of the University of Washington’s Creative Writing program, she bought a one-way ticket to Sweden, rode 36 trains across the continent, ate a hundred strange pastries, and got stuck in Ireland for three weeks. She returned to the States to freelance and write for AllTreatment.com, where she strives to bring compassion, awareness, and open-mindedness to addiction literature. Adrienne is passionate about feminist issues, drug law reform, and the mind-body connection. She has interviewed authors Tony O’Neill, Dr. Gabor Maté, and Nancy D. Campbell, among others. In her spare time, she enjoys writing bad poetry and finding innovative ways to make gourmet mac & cheese from a box.
